At the end of May, we asked our friends to participate in a collection that brings together artists’ imaginations for possible artistic interventions in Sofia. To our great happiness we launch the collection with eleven items by artists Iskra Blagoeva and Boyan Ganev, Vito Valentinov, Ina Valentinova, Nevena Georgieva, Nevena Ekimova, Natalia Yordanova, Billy Mateeva, Maria Minkova, Alina Papazova, Radostin Sedevchev, Nia Tsenkova.

The goal of the Nine Elephants Collection is to inspire ourselves and others to make art possible and desirable in our city. The works remain as an endowment in the collection, which will continue to exist after the exhibition ends. It will be curated by the Blue Cube Foundation, and we will seek new opportunities for presentation with the idea of encouraging public conversation in support of art in our city. The collection will grow and seek new additions from artists living in the city as well as visitors to the city.
