The Message

The mission of Green Line Sofia is the creation of a green ring — an ecological, connected cycling and pedestrian belt in the city that integrates the urban environment and links people, neighborhoods, green spaces, sports, cultural, and educational sites.
For Nine Elephants, architect and driving force behind Green Line Sofia Svetoslav Alexandrov, along with activists and local residents, transform the areas around the abandoned railway tracks in the Gevgeliiski Neighbourhood.

This year together with Ubejna Tochka Foundation we аre also reading short stories by Alek Popov.

We are reading Alek Popov — an author who is not afraid to get his hands dirty with reality and turn it into an absurd, dirty, funny, and completely recognizable dream. Not only because he is entertaining, but because he knows how to capture the pulse of the city. In his texts, Sofia is not a backdrop but a character — hysterical, surreal, tender, and absurd. In the stories we present the boundaries between reality and nightmare dissolve and the panel housing estates become a stage for tragicomic passions, neuroses, and secret fantasies.”
