Useful information

Are you working on a project that fits into Nine Elephants?

If you are developing a project that you feel fits with projects from the first edition of our summer programme, we would be happy to discuss partnership opportunities.

Often the development of artistic and research projects in urban environments is complex – positive impact comes from talking to experts, joining a network of artists working in such a field, and supporting public institutions. Also, presenting, communicating and archiving any “urban” project requires a huge amount of resources, which for single events is a hurdle for the organizers and leads to sinking soon after the presentation.

“Nine Elephants is looking to support artists and organisations that are developing arts projects, community initiatives, participatory projects, urban interventions etc. in the city centre, but also outside the city centre, because decentralisation continues to be a priority for us. Support from our side can be expressed from informal conversations and mentoring through inclusion in our communication channels and the Journal of Social Vision to producing events through public and private funds. In any case – we would love to be in touch and support each other in the shared endeavor of promoting art in urban space.
