POESIA NONSTOP

Over the course of several weeks Ivan Dimitrov, Lora Mladenova nad Kalina Linkova have been in conversation with the people who work, trade and spend their everyday lives along Madrid Blvd – shop owners, salespeople, store employees and visitors. From these encounters, stories and observations, short poetic texts are created and returned to the urban environment in the form of stickers placed on shop windows.

The project transforms the commercial street into a space for reading, reflection and above all, an unusual form of dialogue, turning everyday gestures of work, communication and care – into poetry. Amid advertisements, prices and goods, words appear that draw attention to the human stories behind the businesses and to the rhythms of labour that shape the life of the neighbourhood. In this way Madrid Blvd is revealed not only as a place of consumption, but also as a stage for multiple personal narratives, efforts and relationships.
